What is integrative health coaching?

Integrative health coaching is a whole-person approach to wellness that goes far beyond diet and exercise. It looks at every area of your life — your nutrition, your sleep, your relationships, your stress, your mindset, your environment, and yes, your hormones and gut health — and helps you understand how they all connect. As your integrative health coach, I do not diagnose or treat disease. What I do is help you connect the dots, uncover the root causes behind how you feel, and build a personalized, sustainable path toward real, lasting wellness.
How is this different from seeing a doctor?

Your doctor plays a vital role in your health and I always encourage you to maintain that relationship. But doctors typically have 10 to 15 minutes with you, are trained to diagnose and treat specific conditions, and often do not have the time to explore the full picture of your lifestyle, habits, and overall wellbeing. That is where I come in. At Blackburn Wellness, we have time. We dig into the whole story — what you are eating, how you are sleeping, how stressed you are, how your cycle is behaving — and we work together on the lifestyle shifts that create change from the inside out. Think of it as the missing piece between your medical care and your everyday life.
How do I know which program is right for me?

That is exactly what your free health history session is for. We will have an honest conversation about where you are, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping to achieve. From there, I will help you figure out which program or service makes the most sense for your goals, your lifestyle, and where you are in your healing journey. There is no pressure and no obligation, just a real conversation.
Do I have to have a specific diagnosis to work with you?

Absolutely not. Many of the women I work with have never received a formal diagnosis but they know something is off. They are exhausted, bloated, struggling with their weight, dealing with painful or irregular cycles, or just feeling disconnected from their body. You do not need a label to deserve support. If your body has been sending you signals you cannot ignore, you are in the right place.
Is this only for women with hormone or gut issues?

While hormone and gut health are at the heart of my work, integrative health coaching supports the whole woman. If you are feeling out of balance in any area of your life — your energy, your mindset, your relationships, your nourishment. There is a place for you at Blackburn Wellness.
What does a typical coaching session look like?

Every session is a conversation, not a lecture. We check in on how you have been feeling, celebrate your wins, work through what has been challenging, and build on your personalized roadmap together. Sessions are held virtually so you can show up from wherever you are most comfortable. Between sessions you will have clear, manageable action steps that fit into your real life, not an overwhelming overhaul.
Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I want this work to be as accessible as possible. Both The Vitality Jumpstart and The 6-Month Program offer monthly payment plan options. You can find the full pricing details on the Services page or we can talk through what works best for you during your free health history session.
What if I have tried everything and nothing has worked?

I hear this all the time, and I want you to know - that experience makes complete sense. Most approaches address symptoms without ever looking at the root cause. If you have been eating well, exercising, taking supplements, and still not feeling like yourself, it is not because you are doing it wrong. It is because the full picture has not been addressed yet. That is exactly the work we do together at Blackburn Wellness.
